Network Administrator

The successful Network Administrator will work in a positive team environment to manage and maintain a secure, high performing computer network system by planning, developing, installing, supporting, and optimizing network hardware, software, and WAN infrastructure. If you like working in a virtual (VMWare) environment, creating new secure Windows servers with latest OS and latest security patches, and working with current hardware and software technology, this may be just the position for you. Other responsibilities include: Performing backup management using Veeam Backup and ReplicationMonitoring network and server activity logs and alerting using popular logging software such as KiwiSupporting current versions of Microsoft Exchange serverMonitoring and maintaining HA firewall clusterSupporting HA VPN concentrator to provide maximum uptime to remote branch officesMaintaining ShoreTel phone system locally and across a distributed VPN networkSupporting Cisco-based wired and wireless networksManaging SSL certificate purchase and applications, DNS, and domain name registrationManaging internal PKI for wireless authentication and MFA smartcardsProviding backup for IT Network Manager and Helpdesk Administrator, as needed Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and at least 5 years of experience with Windows Servers and workstations, VMWare, and data backup, or equivalent training and work experience. Other beneficial skills include experience with ISCSI SAN and 10Gb networking and experience with routing protocols, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP and VLAN technology. Knowledge of Watchguard, Meraki, and Veeam is a plus. In addition, strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills; physical ability to effectively perform network administration duties; and a valid driver license and auto insurability for infrequent travel to business unit locations are needed.
