At Hallmark Gold Crown, we're building new ways to showcase our products and inspire and engage our consumers. As part of this effort we're creating our own social and long-form videos that showcase the best of our products and bring our craft and storytelling to life.

We have an opening for a Videographer (Director of Photography)  that can help plan, direct, and shoot rich product stories across our Gold Crown Gifts and Keepsake Ornaments video production efforts.

Incumbent will collaborate with our internal business clients, our in house studio staff and external agencies to produce videos that range across docu-style and "how to" pieces, FB live events, and stop motion and still photography. Finished videos will deploy across various social channels,, and our Hallmark Movies Now SVOD platform.

A videographer (also known as the Director of Photography) is part director, part camera operator. This role is in charge of the images that will be seen in our social and long-form video. Incumbent will work on the studio set and in remote locations to film social and long-form video for deployment into various social channels and Hallmark's SVOD platform.

Pre-production responsibilities include participating in all planning meetings, identifying lighting, camera and shot needs list for a particular shoot, and assembling the right equipment for the production.

Production responsibilities cover lighting the set, setting up and operating the camera(s), interviewing subjects (as needed), directing multi-camera studio equipment, and overseeing the video shoot in total.

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience in Film, Broadcast, or Agency Studio model
  • Professional videographer experience


  • 3+ years as a videographer / director of photography within film, broadcast, live performance, game production
  • Video editing and creating motion graphics experience
