Business Unit Overview
This position is part of Novantas JADAK business unit. JADAK specializes in customized detection and analysis solutions for a wide range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who rely on JADAK to solve complex inspection, tracking, scanning and documenting challenges in the medical and advanced industrial markets. Our extensive team of engineers collaborate with your team to design, manufacture and implement solutions utilizing a broad portfolio of technologies including machine vision, RFID, barcode and color and light measurement technologies.
The Service Technician is responsible for the manufacture and service of products and for the training of Manufacturing team members where applicable. This activity includes assembly and test of production build as well as assessment, repair, and calibration of service returns. The role will also ensure that Manufacturing team members are performing tasks to standard work and per industry standards.
Perform service-related activities including pre-calibration, repair, and calibration in support of customer returns.
Perform production related activities including assembly, alignment, calibration, and quality control in support of customer orders.
Train production team members on the production and service of Machine Vision products.
Ensure production and service is completed in compliance with technical requirements and industry standards
Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies
Assembly, electronics, work standards, electronics calibration, quality control.
Retained skills associated with assembly, test, calibration, and repair of complex opto-electronic products
A.A.S in Electronics Preferred.
2+ years experience the production of electronic equipment required
