What Youll Do:
  • Operations Support Specialist Act as first point of escalation and first line of defense for all Desk issues.
  • Sit with the FID sales traders weekly to react immediately to desk or client requests.
  • Responsible for leading major trading events such as rebalances and sensitive transitions.
  • Assist Operations teammates with any communication gaps between Sales & Trading and Operations
  • Conduct systems & new flow testing with FID, Operations, and IT to ensure all enhancements are working as expected
  • Liaising with project leads on market driven initiatives relating to Cash FID Operations
  • Work closely with FID, IT and Operations to identify STP opportunities and to implement fixes at any stage of a trade lifecycle in order to enhance operational processes (reducing costs and increasing speed & accuracy)
  • Support FID with any urgent Client & TSG queries or issues raised by desk e.g., sending trade confirmation, Error bookings etc. Also, will be assisting in reconciliations during market system outages for Cash FID TSG and CCP

What You Bring:
  • 2 to 5 years of global FID Operations experience in a financial organisation.
  • Industry knowledge of Securities Processing including Depository Trust Company, CTM services.
  • Recognizes risk in day-to-day processes, draws out the key issues and suggests ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Analyses of complex issues, identifying root causes, and proposes future actions,
  • Strong sense of ownership with top level critical thinking skills and an Aptitude to understand, utilize, and improve technology platforms.
