Job Description
Seeking a Project Engineer to provide support to the Public Works municipal group in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of experience and be able to work independently to move projects forward to produce plans and specifications in a team environment
Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
The design of water distribution systems and facilities including:
Treatment plants and booster pump stations
Wastewater collection systems and facilities
Roadway/drainage projects
Other projects typical of municipal engineering practice
Requirements
B.S. in Civil Engineering
E.I.T. certificate, P.E. or have intent to pursue professional licensure in the State of Texas
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience as a civil engineer focused on municipal projects
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Must demonstrate high productivity and show initiative and efficiency with task assignments
Good communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
