Opportunity for candidates with a diverse technical background that includes systems, networking and desktop support. Support LANs, WANs, network segments, phones, and intranet systems. Conducts installations, configurations, upgrade tasks, and basic repairs. Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates, and patches. Maintains associated integrity and security. Utilize and observe established SLAs to ensure timely responses and assistance to phone, email, and on-site support requests. Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services. Evaluate and modify systems performance and make recommendations for future upgrades. Maintain operating efficiency and stability, ensuring the security and integrity of all systems and data, responding to outages and other performance or connectivity issues. Perform application administration activities such as creating, modifying, and deleting users, optimizing remote access, and security access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications.
