Description

SECURITY & RISK COMPLIANCE ANALYST
100% remote; no travel needed; possible temp to perm (based on performance and business need)

Required Skills:
  • Understanding of basic concepts and techniques associated with cybersecurity.
  • Conducting assessments of Information Technology systems for compliance against internal or external requirements, such as standards or regulatory requirements.
  • Managing projects from planning through design and implementation.
  • Solve complex problems and implement practical solutions to address gaps and deficiencies identified through various compliance or risk assessments.
  • Follow the designed work plan for controls to peer review assessment results.
  • Articulate compliance requirements behind specific controls and associated issues.
  • Maintain positive working relationships and collaborate with individuals in IT and the business responsible for completion of controls and associated issues.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in written formats.
  • Strong understanding of Windows office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel (Main program used), Active Directory, SAP, SQL.

Project Description:
  • Review controls against documented requirements and test steps to ensure completeness.
  • Work with key contacts within IT and the business to close out issues identified through various internal and external compliance reviews.
  • Track requested information for compliance assessments from Managed Service providers against Service Level Agreements and follow up for corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist the Compliance and Risk Management teams to design, manage, and close controls and related action plans.

This is a 9+ month position with a high possibility of extension or full-time hire.
