EQUANS are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to be based in University Hospital of North Durham DH1 5TW. This is a permanent full-time role working 32.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £17,525.30 per annum and benefits package.

Alternating shift pattern.

To provide a safe and timely food service for staff, visitors and patients. Assisting in the delivery of a high standard of food service which meets the requirements of food hygiene.

What will you deliver?

In times of commercial staff shortages, support will be required to replenish vending machines with assorted food / snack items, while ensuring that the equipment is clean & in good mechanical order. All mechanical breakdowns or damage must be reported to team leader / supervisor / line manager.
General cleaning of vending machines where appropriate, in accordance with appropriate cleaning schedule.

Who are we looking for?

Level 2 Award In Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate is required and in date (not exceeding 3 year)
