Opportunities are plenty for those ready to accept the challenge.This opportunityProviding information security assurance services to various projects across TPG Telecom, and working with project managers and scrum masters performing threat and risk assessments on the various solutions being built.If you come from another industry and you’ve never worked in Security before, we are still interested. We will complement your existing knowledge of compliance, quality, or risk by providing specialist security training.ResponsibilitiesWork with project managers and scrum masters as the risk subject matter expert, helping TPG Telecom avoid threats to the confidentiality and integrity of systemsEnsure non functional requirements and technical enablers are followed in projects and stories; where there are exceptions you will manage the approval of the exceptionPerform compliance assessments of projects and stories ensuring we build secure design systems that are compliant to our policy set, security strategy and legislations·Liaise with solution architects, network infrastructure teams, and business units, providing risk subject matter expertise as neededPromote security awareness and advocate for policyMaintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholdersSeek ways to improve our processes with the aim of reducing bureaucracy, whilst maintaining our security posture.Key TasksWrite a design threat and risk assessment for each project/story that you work onApprove the transmission protocols used in projects and storiesApprove the Solutions Architecture DocumentWrite risk reports for our internal government complianceApprove the security controls evidence submission.Knowledge and experiencePrevious security experience is not a prerequisite, but is desirableUniversity degree in a relevant field is preferred but not absolutely necessarySecurity skills we can train if you do not already have them.Previous experience in the following roles would be desirable:Quality assuranceRisk and complianceConsumer operationsProject managementBusiness analystAuditing.Benefits and perksFlexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)‘Stay Connected Mobile’ – Access to a free mobile plan‘Stay Connected NBN’ – Access to a free NBN 100 plan‘Your Leave’ - an additional 4 days of leave to be used whenever you like - every yearAccess to TPG Learning Hub platform and internal development opportunitiesAccess to Corporate Partner DiscountsBolder and better together! Don’t meet every single requirement?
