Kwik Trip’s Information Technology Department has an opening for a Unified Communications Supervisor. 

What you will be doing… 

You will be responsible for a team that oversees the review, analysis, evaluation, implementation and maintenance of the company's voice and video communications services to continually provide necessary and effective internal and external communication and collaboration. 

Additional responsibilities Include: 

  • Supervise the Unified Communications Team.
  • Maintain budgets and schedules.
  • Evaluation and determination of proper technical procedures and documentation.
  • Administration and Maintenance of our phone system and supporting applications.
  • Administration and Maintenance of supporting hardware and phones.
  • Management of Unified Communications projects and initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships.

You will need to have: 

  • Associate degree in Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant Unified Communications experience.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet project and department deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with enterprise Unified Communications platforms.
  • Experience programming phones.
  • Experience with Contact Center platforms.
  • Experience with cellular tablets and smartphones.
  • Experience configuring digital and analog voice gateways. 
  • Technologies practices and procedures for configuration and performance tuning of Unified Communications platforms.
  • Unified Communications security practices and procedures 

Even better if you have: 

  • Experience with Unified Communications Analytics.
  • Experience with virtual machines.
  • Experience with advanced call flow manipulation and management.
  • Experience managing overhead paging systems.
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
  • Knowledge of wireless 4G/5G environments.
  • Collaboration training and/or certification.
  • Knowledge of best practices and procedures involving the use of protocol analyzers and network sniffing technologies for troubleshooting VoIP protocol communications.

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours with rotating on-call responsibilities. Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed.
