Description
To serve as a liaison between the Office of Sponsored Programs and the UAB Research Foundation for the purpose of expediting the review, negotiation and execution of agreements for extramurally sponsored and investigator-initiated projects while protecting UAB's products, intellectual property, copyrights and processes.
The Sponsored Programs Analyst is charged with the review of language related to intellectual property in agreements processed by the Office of Sponsored Programs. The types of agreements reviewed by the Office of Sponsored Programs include, but are not limited to, clinical trial agreements, research agreements, master agreements, fee for service agreements, research collaboration agreements, and data use agreements.
Annual Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Science or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
