Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant to the COO

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for providing routine business administrative functions and secretarial support to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Qualifications: To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have an in-depth knowledge of secretarial and administrative support functions for an organizational unit, which is acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in administrative assistance or a related field, and five years of related administrative secretarial experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED) and seven years of related administrative secretarial experience. This position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and the ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands: This position requires continuous sitting, and standing/walking; and frequent reaching below and above shoulder level, use of keyboard/computer, bending/reaching, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. It also requires the ability to develop plans, procedures and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines.
