Next Level Group is an executive search firm partnering with Manufacturing companies throughout Canada and the US. We have been a driving force in the North American staffing industry since 2011. We built our staffing agency on the need for business and staffing solution partnerships in the industries that are honest, ethical, and professional in their practices. We are currently looking for an Electrician for an industry leading client located near, Concord Ontario.
Responsibilities
Competent in maintenance and repair processes and best practices with attention to safety, quality, cost and timing.
Perform repairs on electrical equipment.
Perform duties on electrical PM’s.
Perform troubleshooting on various machinery and equipment.
Maintenance of general plant systems and equipment.
Understand the construction and practical application of the various machines and equipment in the CNC machining department and the overall shop.
Operate, maintain and instruct on the Maintenance Database and Work Order system.
Run conduits of all sizes, install panel boards and disconnects, wire said devices for feeder and branch circuits.
Operate crane, fork truck and high reach equipment.
Maintain and repair electrical process(s) to specifications from vendor supplied schematics, data, drawings and instructions.
Analyze machinery and determine the need for Contractors/Specialists to perform specific tasks on machines and/or equipment.
Train on both the practical and theory of maintenance and repair processes and best practices to members of the team respecting skill levels, with attention to safety, quality, cost and timing.
Education
Certificate of Qualification as Industrial Electrician # 442A or Construction Maintenance Electrician #309A.
Completion of Grade 12 diploma is a requirement.
Prior electrical work experience in an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of general plant and building systems and equipment.
Strong knowledge of industrial electronics.
Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and their operation as well as maintenance and repair.
Understand required information to complete the maintenance and repair process(s) to specifications from vendor supplied schematics, data, drawings and instructions.
Strong knowledge of assembled components on machinery or in the plant.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
