Our client runs a thriving state of the art meat (pork) processing facility located in Wooroloo, only an hour outside of capital city, Perth.
They are now looking for process workers to commence ASAP. You will be an important part of productive and caring team where you will undertake a range of preparation and processing activities.
You will be responsible for all aspects of meat processing and will carry out the following duties (but not limited to):
Bagging, packing, and weighing products.
Carton strapping and assembly.
Washing down of pens and raceways
Chiller transportation and cleaning
Preparation and application of spices and marinades to product
Machinery operation (slicing and dicing)
Loading and unloading products
Hygiene, process monitoring and product assessment.
Other duties as requested by the Supervisor.
All PPE and comprehensive training will be provided onsite!
Your Skills & Experience
Ideally you will have experience working in food preparation processing (not necessarily in the meat industry) and be willing to work in a meat processing environment. To be considered for the role, please ensure you can prove the following:
Physically fit with no limitations on ability to undertake repetitive work.
Reliable and able to consistently attend shifts (including overtime and weekend work)
Previous experience in hygienic food production is highly desirable.
Reading, writing and conversational English.
