We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to join their commercial team and drive new business development in a designated territory of UK businesses.

The successful candidate will have a passion for sustainability and the environment, and will be responsible for identifying qualified leads, cold calling, and securing new clients, with a particular emphasis on Green Mark and InMetriks.

Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Executive: Market research to identify key decision-makers within prospective client companies and understand their needs Develop a pipeline of qualified leads through research, trade shows, and existing customers Proactively engage with prospective clients via telephone and email and document interactions in the CRM system Meet and exceed quarterly sales and meetings targets Arrange sales meetings for senior business development managers and attend your own sales meetings with designated clients Write business proposals to secure new clients and support the senior sales team throughout the sales cycle Manage inbound sales enquiries and pass on relevant leads to specialists or existing account owners Stay up to date on industry developments and competitor activity Required Skills and Qualifications as a Business Development Executive: Minimum of 12 months of B2B sales experience Excellent oral communication, written, and presentation skills Professionalism, organization, and multitasking abilities Self-starter with high levels of motivation and a "can do" attitude Confident closer and resourceful, self-motivated, and competitive Experience in writing persuasive business proposals Strong academic record, analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office/CRM systems Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Science, or Engineering is preferred, but not required Passion for sustainability and the environment Valid driver's license Salary: Up to £30k per year, depending on experience, plus uncapped commission (OTE £45k in 1st year) and benefits.
