Serving three primary markets passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

The position will assist with continuous improvement of the various facets of Order-to-Delivery in each of the business segments of the Aftermarket.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist with collection and management of metrics for global distribution centers
* Work with manufacturing plants to track and consolidate improvement plans
* Work with Distribution Center materials teams on updates for incoming material
* Utilize and develop analytics to support fill rate measurement and analysis to identify current and future fill rate impacts
* Support new product launches
* Identify opportunities to improve fill rates through data analytics and help drive improvement activities
* Performs all other duties as assigned



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in related field.
* 5+ experience preferred in continuous improvement, materials management, and/or data analytics
* Strong cross-functional experience with track record of success
* Ability to work non-traditional business hours to support global operations

* Ability to work in a team environment and independently; a proven track record of successful cross-functional interaction
* Excellent organizational and communication skills written and oral
* Strong team building and people skills including the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation
* Demonstrated success in problem solving
* Must possess strong analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities
* Data analytic capabilities in development or Power BI or willingness to learn
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
* Willing to learn new concepts and effectively pass this knowledge on to others in support of accomplishing the larger goals of the Aftermarket organization
* Must possess a detail orientation, be able to work effectively as an individual contributor and possess solid interpersonal relationship and communication skills
