NP-PA Endocrinology Diabetes Req # 73595 Multiple Positions Fall River, MA
Under the direction of the Medical Director for Endocrinology or the Physician-in-Chief for Medicine, perform diversified duties in being responsible for the care of patients with diabetic disease, assigned under direction of individual attending Physicians under the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner practice. Provide a variety of outpatient care and services under the supervision of individually assigned Physician as part of daily activities. Provide evaluation, treatment and care for patients in the hospital and coordinate effective transitions of care.Provide functional or technical supervision over employees in the same or closely related classification.
We are a fast-paced, established, patient centered practice that provides quality care to our patients.
Hours: Full-time 40 hours
Shift: Days
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
* Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
* Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A. approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
* Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License is required
* Over three years up to and including five years' experience is required
* Possible session time in Portsmouth, RI office
Must become fully vaccinated against the COVID 19 virus and provide required vaccination documentation unless approved for a medical or religious exemption by Southcoast.
