Cardiac/Vascular/General Surgery Clinical Leader (RN) OR - WBGH (1.0) FT

A clinically competent, registered nurse who prescribes, delegates, and coordinates patient care for the surgical patient. Effectively interacts with patients, their families, and healthcare team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assumes responsibility for managing clinical and support activities and allocating the unit's human resources on a designated shift. Ensures that care is delivered by those who are competently trained to do so according to the patient population, level of technology, the complexity of care needs, and the age of the patient.

Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field preferred

Must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of peri-operative nursing experience. Managerial skills, clinical expertise, teaching/instructing, clerical accuracy, communication skills, listening abilities, independent thinking/sound judgment; ability to deal with stress, ability to react to emergencies and crises, and commitment to the quality of care. Clinical, managerial, communication, and problem-solving. Independent thinker, able to make sound judgments, handle stress, react to emergencies and crises, and commit to quality care.

Current CPR certification must be completed before the end of an orientation period
