We are looking for a delivery-oriented Data Quality Management professional who is able to lead the engagement with stakeholders to effectively identify and manage the end-to-end documentation of data quality risks and controls, as well as identify gaps and develop remediation strategies. The role will also leverage data quality measurement and reporting solutions to increase visibility over data quality risks, controls and issues.
In this role, you will be required to work across multiple business groups, build and maintain strong relationships, and help guide them in identifying, managing and assessing data quality risks and controls in a consistent, prioritised way. It will also involve developing and delivering on the plan to increase the level of data risk and controls maturity in the Business Units – through workshops and training sessions.
Support the group data teams in implementing effective data quality controls management (identification, documentation and management of controls).
Support the group data teams in implementing measurement and monitoring capabilities over data risks and controls.
Ensure data quality risks and controls are accurately captured in the appropriate repositories (Collibra or OpenPages)
Identify, analyse and escalate Enterprise issues and gaps in data quality controls effectiveness, facilitate the determination of issue impact, root cause and solution options.
Ensure accurate, regular reporting is produced to give visibility to governance forums on enterprise data quality controls.
Provide input into oversight and assurance processes for controls relating to data risks.
Leverage and, where necessary, uplift the artefacts in place today to set clear “How to” guidance on good data quality risks & controls management practices.
Provide data risks / controls training to Business Units
5+ years hands on experience working in Data Quality Management (risks and controls)
Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
Experience defining and assessing data quality risks and controls;
Experience with Informatica IDQ, Collibra or similar data quality/ operational risk solutions is a plus
Highly Regarded Skills
Financial Services industry experience
Exposure to or experience in operational risk management
Experience with data governance and metadata management tools (e.g., Axon, Collibra, IGC)
