The opportunity

 

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Systems Administrator to join us in the Talent Strategy and Planning team.

 

The Talent System Administrator role provides Human Resources system administration and user support to ensure the organisation has access to the appropriate permissions and information within the talent and performance technology platforms. This position also provides reporting and analysis to assist with business requests, as well as informing continuous improvement in the effectiveness of systems enablement of performance and talent objectives.

 

  • Monitor, analyse and report on key talent indicators to support the development of talent planning and strategies and ensure that they are aligned with the organisation’s business objectives
  • Provide clear and concise data and analysis for the development of stakeholder reporting and improvement initiatives to ensure informed business decisions are made with accurate, current and relevant information
  • Provide a range of support services related to talent technologies, data, records management, user enquiries and systems support including reporting, assisting with data entry as required and assisting with systems testing, user training, configuration, and implementation of systems changes
  • Create and refine reporting formats (from various data sources) ensuring data is presented in a concise, clear and easy to read format and provide advice on interpretation of data and metrics to support evidence-based decision making
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify key indicators required to support achievement of business objectives to ensure the correct data is being captured
  • Provide data for the development and delivery of any compliance reports, including performance and management reports, to ensure reporting requirements are met

About you

 

You are an experienced HR Talent Systems Administrator looking to make a difference at Transport for NSW.

 

You will have previous HR systems experience. Preferably Success Factors, but this is not a must, as this can be taught. You will also boast advanced Excel skills and have the ability to be creative with excel reporting. You will have exceptional communications skill as this role will require you to be able to communicate with a range of different stakeholders.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced excel – (example: pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, combine and analyse data sets, interactive dashboards)
  • HR systems experience – a MUST
  • Previous systems reporting experience
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Detail orientated
  • Take pride in your work
  • Excellent communication skills

 

 

Salary and Benefits

 

The salary for this position is Grade 7A ($108,770) – 7E ($121,822) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
