We’re looking for an exceptional In-Home Customer Advisor to join the Carpetright family and become part of something special, as we drive forward and look to the future. How you’ll play your part Your role will be to visit our customers in their homes, measuring up and helping them pick the right flooring as they look to transform their home. If you like variety, autonomy and meeting new people every day, this is the role for you! Confidence is key as you’ll be engaging directly with customers in their homes, interacting with them and helping them make their decisions with a key focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be part of a fantastic team, working closely with the store advisors and management team to support the sales process. What you’ll need The key to success in this role is a clear drive and passion for customer service. You’ll need to be meticulous about detail and have an interest in home decor. We can teach you about our amazing products and services (and how to measure!) and provide you with market leading training to help get you up and running. What we’ll need from you is a professional and friendly approach, a good dose of enthusiasm and the ability to build rapport with customers quickly and effectively. It’s likely that you’ll have worked in a role that involves working outside of the usual workplace (in a customers’ home) and are comfortable working in a target focused environment. Please note that Carpetright apply the National Living Wage to all colleagues regardless of age. This means that your total earnings including salary, commission and bonus will be monitored monthly and a top up applied should your hourly rate fall below the current National Living Wage rate set at £8.91.
