*About us*

If you’re part of the Environment Agency, you’re part of the solution for protecting and improving the environment for people and wildlife. We work nationally with multiple partners and organisations using science and evidence to regulate industry, to prepare for and respond to environmental incidents (including flooding) and to monitor and improve air, land and water. Our work needs diverse, multi-disciplinary and multi-skilled teams. Incident Management and Resilience is one of the national teams within the Environment Agency. Together, we’ll tackle climate change, promote sustainable growth and contribute to a better & more resilient future for everyone.

*Your role with us*

As a Digital Associate Product Manager, you’ll be at the heart of this work. Working as part of a tight-knit team, you’ll support the Digital Product Manager with the implementation of a landmark new software that will shape the way the wider Incident Management team responds to customer needs. You’ll work to mitigate any issues that might arise during migration, escalating teething issues, and supporting end-users during the rollout of the new software. Working to ensure the implementation and delivery is a success, you’ll deliver Incident Management services whilst the new system is being implemented.

Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents, or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.

*What do I need?*

An established professional with a passion for the management and delivery of IT based solutions, you’ll have experience of delivering products and services to Governmental Digital Services standards. A true team player capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders, you’ll be capable of managing and prioritising conflicting priorities, and of using your initiative to find solutions.

You’ll stay calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills and experience of managing the work of digital delivery teams. Most importantly, you’ll be a person passionate about the environment, and about improving environmental outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic team safeguarding the places that matter.

*What’s in it for you?*

Working at the Environment Agency, you will benefit from an inclusive culture that embraces difference and values everyone, where you’ll feel supported and trusted to do the right thing. We’ll invest in you and allow you to grow and shape your career. What’s more, you’ll have access to our great benefits package including:

* Flexible working with a competitive salary
* An award winning pension fund
* Starting leave allowance of 27 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
