Description
- understand the project scope requirements (specific to Enterprise Storage System for Data Centre and other infra nodes) and undergo detailed requirements study with the customer, within purview of tender scope
- Customize, Develop, Integrate, Test and Implement Storage Solutions to provision block and file volumes based on customer requirements with appropriate protocols
- Carry out detailed design which includes HLD (High Level Design), LLD (Low Level Design), Service Solution Document, Network traffic assumptions, Configuration Template & OEM Validation, Service Activation, Fulfilment, Feasibility & Provisioning as per the best practices
- Have in-depth experience on any Software Defined Storages and thin provisioning, etc
- Integration experience and migration of storage data across different storage arrays
- Have in-depth experience on creating Storage pools, RAID groups, LUNS, Zoning etc
- Hands on experience on SAN switches with respective to Zoning WWPN, WWN, troubleshooting, Generation switch logs etc
- Knowledge on FC, FCoE, iSCSI protocols, and FLOGI, PLOGI
- Working experience on SAN Switch upgrades, troubleshooting, etc
- Responsible for installing, configuring, managing, fixing issues, upgrading while implementing enhancements to the new data storage systems. You also enforce storage standards including in design, development, installation, modification, and documentation
- Should have in-depth knowledge on synchronous and asynchronous replications across 3 sites in 3-way replication modes and automatic switchover between sync and async modes
- Have in-depth knowledge of business continuity, multi-site storage administration, replication, virtualization, and product specific technologies
- Maintaining the storage array with control over QoS, min and max IOPS, bandwidth and latencies, Storage performance monitoring, etc
- Migration of data across heterogenous storage arrays for tech-refresh
- Responsible to create Knowledge article, SOP, generating reports, Operations Manual, Architecture diagrams for Storages, Storage domain
- Co-ordinate with the project team, field team for deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, and resolve technical issues in co-ordination with execution vendors
ALinux L2/L3 Engineer is a technical professional who is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systems and networks. They are responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Linux systems and networks. The Linux L2/L3 Engineer will be part of a team of IT professionals who are responsible for the overall health of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and networks
- Monitor and troubleshoot Linux systems and networks to ensure availability and performance
- Manage and maintain Linux-based security systems and networks
- Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff
- Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux-based systems and networks
- Develop and implement procedures and policies for Linux systems and networks
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement new solutions
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
