The Connections team is responsible for enabling advertising transactions on our exchange platform- handling billions of ad requests a day and growing- and adapting the engagement bus and impression bus for customer use cases. We drive improvements to performance, scale and features that drive advertiser spend on the TLX platform.

The Role

TripleLift is looking to hire a Front End Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. We are a fast growing startup in the advertising technology sector, trying to tackle some of the most challenging problems facing the industry. In this role you will design and implement software solutions to support our exchange workflow. Our exchange handles billions of ad requests each day and your front-end systems are critical to its operation. The user interfaces will help configure the exchange’s decisioning to ensure websites can effectively monetize their ad inventory.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BE degree in Software engineering/Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience as an individual contributor
  • 1-2 years of professional experience with React.JS (or equivalent)
  • Comfortable working with MySQL and AWS

  • Work in a cross-functional team to push features to completion
  • Build systems in a manner that is not only suitable for the near-term needs of the business but also to last and scale
  • Work with product management and business stakeholders to explore product-line discovery opportunities
  • Exemplify professionalism and adherence to TripleLift’s coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in the interview process for new team members

  • Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to run the technical aspects of a large project consisting of 3-4 team members
  • Ability to navigate incomplete requirements
  • Ability to influence and motivate software engineers to improve the quality and scalability of software products over time
  • A broad generalist skill set including competencies in Next.js, React, Java, database management and infrastructure automation using AWS
  • Experience automating release pipelines using continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques
  • Ability to work across time zones and clear verbal English skills
