Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a manager to oversee a dynamic group of software developers. The selected candidate will supervise the Logistics Data Warehouse (LDW) team for the Department of the Navy's Strategic Systems Program customer. The work is performed at our Rockville, MD and Mechanicsburg, PA locations. LDW is a software system utilizing Data Warehouse/Decision Support tools to enable customer oversight of supply support processes as well as generation of logistics products. Responsibilities include managing all phases of software development, including requirements definition, design, code, test, implementation, and documentation. Other responsibilities will include briefing the customer at management reviews, providing status reports, participating in customer working groups, as well as performing data and systems analysis. Supervisory tasks will include ensuring section employees meet all timekeeping, ethics, training, safety and performance requirements, as well as hiring, coaching and evaluating employees on the team.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Mathematics, or related discipline and at least six years related/relevant work experience.

* Experience troubleshooting and resolving problems
* Experience working in a team environment
* Willingness to learn business operations of a complex logistics software enterprise

Security clearance requirements: This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

* Knowledge and experience with U.S. Navy submarine logistics
* Active DoD Secret security clearance
* Experience using ETL software, preferably Informatica Power Center
* Experience using BI software, preferably Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
* Experience using Oracle databases and SQL
* Ability to gather and translate user requirements into automated solutions, and analyze complex business requirement
* Project Management
* Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
