Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary, a national law firm based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with offices located in major cities throughout the United States, is looking for an attorney with 1-4 years’ experience in private practice or federal judicial clerkship for an associate position working in the firm’s class action defense practice from either its Chicago, Los Angeles, or Indianapolis office. The firm’s class action defense practice involves approximately 90% federal court work in various jurisdictions throughout the United States. Some travel is involved. Responsibilities will be substantial and will cover all phases of litigation, with the associate expected to immediately assume important roles in on-going cases. Previous experience in class action or complex litigation cases is preferred. Pay is competitive for an individual with similar experience in the Chicago, Los Angeles, or Indianapolis markets.

Skills and Requirements of Class Action Associate

  • Admittance to the state bar required.
  • Previous experience in class action cases is preferred.
  • 1-4 years’ experience in private practice or federal judicial clerkship.
  • Federal court work preferred.

Firm Benefits
