Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new-graduate speech pathologist to join a reputable private practice.
This opportunity has been created not only due to a waitlist demand increase, the position was designed because there is a team of passionate speech pathologists who thrive on teaching and imparting their knowledge to early career professionals.
Ideally, this opportunity would suit a new graduate speech pathologist who is seeking to build on their existing skills by working with a diverse caseload presenting with a broad range of disabilities and or/development delays. 
Your day-to-day will include a mix of client-facing appointments and dedicated administration time, allowing you to tailor individual support and interventions for clients and their caregivers. 
The team has a number of senior speech pathologists with a broad range of clinical knowledge that will provide weekly supervision and mentoring, as well as continued learning opportunities with scheduled case conferences with the broader team. 

Full-time permanent position.
Negotiable start date.

The Role
  • Predominantly clinic-based, with 1 day per week in the community 
  • Day-to-day duties include home visits, school, kindy, and preschool visits, in-clinic assessments, consultations, and therapy sessions. 
  • Assist children with ASD, developmental delay, early intervention, CP, complex communication, down syndrome, literacy and sound disorders
  • Get out of the office routine with a 1-day mobile home visit and 4 days clinic-based with clinic located in Ormiston and travel restricted to a 30mins radius 
  • You will look after a range of clients with 80% NDIS clients 20% Private clients 
  • This company specialises in AAC and feeding
Requirements/Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership + WWCC
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Vehicle and license
