ERM has an opportunity for an experienced consultant to join the Environmental and Health & Safety (EHS) Transaction Advisory Team in a global organisation with sustainability at its heart.

We are looking for an EHS Transaction Advisory Specialist to join our team based in either Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane or Melbourne. We pride ourselves on inspiring, developing and rewarding our people while working with the best clients on the biggest sustainability challenges.

You will be participating in an array of multidisciplinary projects, working alongside technical experts on a portfolio spanning EHS due diligence for mergers & acquisitions and EHS compliance. While managing and contributing to local, interstate and international projects you will be provided with opportunities to travel within Australia and overseas.

We’re looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills who thrives on variety. You must have solid communication skills and sound technical knowledge in EHS. Experience in project management, business development and proposal writing would be looked upon favourably.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in science, engineering or environmental management and will be responsible for:

• conducting site audits;

• preparing technical reports to a high standard;

• working as part of a team to conduct detailed data analysis, risk and compliance assessments;

• conducting site visits to review site practices and identify EHS risks;

• coaching and mentoring more junior staff in technical matters; and

• communicating technical information to clients.
