The API Integration Intern will learn and develop coding skills to enhance the portfolio of offerings the Emerging Technology exposes to support the connectivity and administration of IoT devices for our B2B customers.


Design and developing a full lifecycle for an API:

1) swagger

2) APi endpoint creation

3) Unit test case

4) Mongo DB Document creation

5) Splunk monitoring


  • Learn the architecture of the IoT ET platform
  • Understand the API construction and lifecycle

  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to accomplish goals

  • Design, along with help from mentor, the structure of a new API(s) endpoint
  • Develop using the selected coding language the approved design for the API
  • Perform unit testing of the developed code
  • Explain the challenges/successes of the process used to create the new API
  • Additional tasks as indicated by mentor or manager

  • Languages: Java, JavaScript, Golang, Python, Angular JS, Java, Spring Boot

  • Data Stores: Mongo, Redis, Postgres, Cassandra Teamwork, collaboration, goal driven, good communication both verbal and written, willingness to learn new technologies.

  • This role is not eligible for relocation. Intern must have reliable transportation to work in office.

    Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. 

    T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and will consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase (1) as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others, or (2) for other reasons under applicable law. 

    Intern wages range from $20/hour to $26/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location
