We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies and an ability to work as a key member in a development team for a rapidly growing company. Our company provides Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software for large corporations. Our product is designed for high-end deployments at customer facilities or in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The core engine contains complex OLAP, multi-dimensional, multi-server, multi-threading, web, and SQL technologies and is specifically designed to solve problems for the Office of Finance at extremely large corporations.


  • Assist in product releases by testing and validating fixes and features
  • Assure all requirements are met and tested for product releases
  • Identify risks, summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from test results to review outcomes and continually improve quality
  • Design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and scripts
  • Document test results
  • Analyze user stories and bug tickets to drive out acceptance criteria and test cases
  • Participate in relevant meetings/ceremonies
  • Work with the development team to ensure quality releases
  • Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA including setup of complex production simulation environments and data
  • Identify bugs, defects, and regressions in the software development product lifecycle
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving skills and out-of-the box thinking
  • Participate in the automation and prioritization of test cases
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing automated tests
  • Monitor quality assurance projects to ensure adherence to established objectives, and timelines
  • Participate in the mentoring and on-boarding of staff when necessary
  • Present QA findings as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Communication, Strategy, and Relationship Management

  • Provide status updates to management, team, and other departments to build awareness of current projects, gather feedback, and seek input for future initiatives
  • Establish and cultivate strong business relationships with end users, IT professionals, and other internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineers and teams to achieve solutions benefiting company goals
  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently formulate and apply best practices



  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5+ years quality assurance experience
  • Experience with Software testing
  • Recent Microsoft technology focus
  • Experience with the following tools/technologies:
    • C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Web Services, WCF, WPF, XAML, XML, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
    • Visual Studio, DevExpress, Telerik, JIRA and GIT, Selenium
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies

Preferred Experience

  • EPM/CPM Knowledge or financial background
  • OLAP and multidimensionality
  • Experience with Consolidation Software, such as:
    • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
    • SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
    • SAP Outlooksoft BPC
    • IBM Cognos
    • Tagetik
    • Other EPM solutions
