Our IT Security Support Engineers are responsible for providing level 2/3 support to our customers of our cyber-safety products. The Security Support Engineer provides a hybrid of systems and networking expertise to ensure timely resolution of technical issues, implementation of our cyber-safety products, proactive consultation, and continued high quality services to our customers.

What will you do?

Receive and manage customer support queries and issues, providing technical expertise and timely resolution.

Update and maintain internal knowledge bases to facilitate a better understanding of recurring issues.

Build, image and configure cyber-safety hardware for customers.

Contribute to product documentation and identify areas to improve the customer experience.

Liaise with our sales team to qualify customer requirements and product specifications, and process technical orders.

Assist with software testing and quality assurance, and;

Stock control and ordering.

Who do we want to apply?

The successful candidate will have:

Experience supporting and or deploying Palo alto Firewalls and or Prisma Access / SDWAN or equivalent technologies.

Strong networking knowledge, in areas such as switching and routing.

Broad technical knowledge (including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, XMPP).

Familiarity with wired and wireless networking, centralised authentication systems (Active Directory, Open Directory), operating systems (Windows client and server, OS X, iOS, Android and Linux), VMware, Hyper-V, and server hardware.

General understanding of MS Office tools, G Suite, hardware, and CRMs (Salesforce).

Knowledge of server authentication integration (e.g. AD and/or RADIUS).

Experience with network firewalls, and;

Ability to diagnose issues through troubleshooting and investigation, and provide an excellent customer experience.
