The Position


St John of God Subiaco Hospital is the oldest and biggest hospital in our group, having been established in 1898. With over 550 beds, it is one of Australia’s most respected providers of health care services and an internationally renowned leader in clinical trials and research. SJG Subiaco Hospital is also a leader in innovation and adoption of new technologies, including the implementation of robotic surgical devices and virtual reality imaging technology. Our hospital is located in the heart of Subiaco close to stylish cafes, boutiques and with easy access to the train station .

We are currently seeking two detail orientated, results driven Engineering Project Manager ’s to take the next step in their career.

The Engineering Project Manager overseas the functions of the Engineering Department to ensure that buildings, plant, equipment and grounds are properly maintained across the site(s) and manages the divisional environmental sustainability program.

This is a Permanent Full time position, working 76 hours a fortnight.

Engineering, Accounting or business qualifications highly regarded.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management or similar.
Extensive experience working within the health industry together with an excellent understanding of current issues.
Proven experience in project management with an emphasis on engineering installations
Proven strategic and operational planning skills.
Proven research and analytical skills with a strong financial acumen.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication (written, report and oral) skills.
Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Ability to work autonomously with highly developed time management and organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
