About the role

We are looking for a Child Engagement Worker to join our team atour Child, Health and Development Centre(CHaD).

The Child Engagement Worker -unqualified is an entry positionwithin the Child Health and Development team. The position supportsthe delivery of quality early childhood education and care tochildren based on the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a). Theposition focuses on the implementation of a culturally richenvironment that includes the use of Aboriginal languages ofchildren in the centre, games, activities and songs.


Congress has a strong focus on cultural safety and working within abi-cultural model. The Centre ensures the delivery of supportive,culturally appropriate primary healthcare and build on existingpositive relationships with Aboriginal families to ensure; regularfamily engagement, increased enrolments, and increased children'sparticipation and attendance.
