The Centre
This outstanding and exceptional early learning centre and long day care in Hawthorn, Victoria caters to 40 places everyday. For over 25 years, the centre has been in service with an Exceeding' rating in the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education. The centre prides itself on its caring and supportive community. They believe in the community's influential role on each child's development. The centre adapts play-based learning. With the children's interests playing a pivotal role in planning meaningful and educational experiences, children are exposed to developing their social skills, self-awareness, emotional skills, language, science, and more! You will be working with their team of competent educators passionate for high quality childcare.
The Role

Comply with EYLF and NQS are met or exceeded

Maintain children's records of performances and development

Manage the childrens' day-to-day activities

Create strong rapport with the children, families, and co-educators

Develop high quality learning activities for the children according to their age group

Conduct learning activities and curriculums for children

Role Requirements

Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Valid Working with Children Check

Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one

Experience in working in childcare
