About the role
This role is responsible for retaining our home loan customers who have expressed that they want to leave ME. Leads are passed on through our inbound first contact teams, and you’ll also be making outbound calls to customers to follow up on offers and customer requests.
You’ll also identify and ask questions and provide options around our other home loan products, to help our customers in growing their portfolio while identifying opportunities to assist them to achieve their financial goals. Working in a close-knit team within a values-based organisation, this gives you the opportunity to voice and share your ideas with the rest of your teammates, while you work autonomously while still being part of an engaged team.
First and foremost, you are a retention consultant extraordinaire, and have previous retention experience (ideally within banking), or you have a deep understanding of home loans and the banking landscape. Secondly, you’re a top-notch negotiator, someone who can handle objections with the greatest of ease – you know what you have to do in order to seal the deal.
Finally, you are passionate, motivated and have great communication skills – you really enjoy providing a high level of customer service at all times. With your passion for sales and retention, combined with your positive upbeat attitude and strong attention to detail, you’re excited about jumping ship and embarking on a new career with ME.
