The Opportunity

This position will work remotely within our Electrophysiology division.

In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

What You'll Work On

* Facilitate a portion of the US EP Professional education programs: namely the Best Practice Workshop.
* Creates and leads Customer programs and curricula to differentiate Abbott from the competitors.
* Embraces an education that engages innovative technologies.
* Build & maintain strong relationships with KOLs in order to facilitate programs on a local level for internal and external audiences.
* Provide education to ensure customers (physicians, nurses and technicians) understand Company products, clinical benefits, new diagnostic and therapeutic opportunities with high quality standards.
* Develop a network of KOLs to be able to collaborate in the development, maintenance, and delivery of programs.
* Assess customer educational needs in conjunction with Marketing/Sales to ensure alignment of customer courses curriculum with the business objectives.
* Develop, implement, and provide feedback for continuous improvement of customer education programs and standards.
* Establish and monitor a system of measurement to assess effectiveness, impact, and quality of customer education.
* Provide recommendations on improving education process to management.
* Raise and analyze participant feedback to monitor program quality and make improvements.
* Determine workshop and presentation equipment needs, integrate new technologies as they become available, and provide advice regarding equipment use and maintenance.
* Carry out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner
* Actively engages in maintenance of personal training skills.

Required Qualifications

* Familiarity with Abbott Electrophysiology Products.
* Specific background accrued in marketing and/or sales functions to assure the needed business acumen and business comprehension, in order to integrate the training activities in the marketing and sales initiatives in a harmonic and profitable way.
* Familiar with cross-cultural working environment.
* Able to manage/report on a specified budget.
* Planning and organizational skills.
* Presentation capacities and social skills.
* Ability to travel: 50-75%.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bioengineering or medical background preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years work experience within Electrophysiology, field clinical/sales experience preferred.
* An experience in an educational function will be appreciated.
