The Opportunity

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life- changing products that provide accurate data to drive better- informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

The Business Operation Solution Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for the stability and availability of all our business platforms, (including the management of our partners and vendors), to ensure the best digital experiences for our customers. You drive the strategic planning of product development and processes that ensures efficient scalability and speed. Doing so, customer value creation is at the forefront of everything you do. This a critical role reporting to the Senior Manager Business Operations EMEAP.

What You'll Do:

* Shape, develop and implement the ADC digital strategy and solutions in close alignment with global and local Digital Excellence & Digital Health strategy
* Identify, develop and implement opportunities for digital innovation with internal and external partners
* Understand and master of at least 2 of the areas, E-commerce Solution, Supply chain management, Customer experience
* conceptualizing, planning and leading implementation/adoption of technology to digitally enable new business capabilities
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources
* Execute requirement definitions and priority setting on a program level and act as business partner in large complex program
* Ensure the run operation and enhancement of current application in collaboration with Internal and external stakeholders
* Be actively involved in innovation and change projects with different functional teams in globally, on area or within countries
* Build and maintain strong cooperation with BRM and IT team, External 3rd Parties and Countries
* Analyze and improve existing processes and implement new (smart and lean) processes if and where appropriate
* Shape the current digital infrastructure and IT landscape of the future with our delivery partners

Your Qualification:

* Post graduate diploma or University degree and/ or adequate degree and on-the- job business exposure. Engineering, business computer science, computer science media or an equivalent qualification. MBA is preferred
* Minimum 10 years of work experience required. Professional experience in e- commerce, supply chain, customer experience area with experience in buildup and use of IT solutions
* minimum 5 years' Experience in Med. Tech., Pharma, or consumer good is required
* Proven project, Program management and organizational skills (classical & agile)
* Team- player who takes on accountability and enjoys connecting with people in an international team
* Excellent communicator on all channels
* Experienced in leading internal IT delivery teams and service provider governance (onsite/ near- and offshore) in Run operation and projects
* History in developing programs to develop and improve processes and quality along an omni- channel / digital retail customer journey
* Ability to document business requirements and qualify and quantify their effects
* Fluent in English; other European language is a plus
* Travel up to 20%
* Experience in working in international teams is a plus
