The Opportunity

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott's Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies. We are now recruiting for an Internal Account Manager within our Toxicology Commercial Team in Abingdon.

What You'll Do

* Work predominantly with existing customer accounts to increase revenue by recognising upselling opportunities
* Build long lasting relationships (internally & externally) and work closely with an external partner and within an internal sales team
* Manage a wide range and number of accounts
* Set up new accounts, reply to customer queries etc.
* Knowledge of ever changing and complex markets
* Develop processes, systems and reports
* Create a positive working relationship with key customer contacts

Required Qualifications

* Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent experience
* Hardworking and motivated by success
* Collaborative and foster a positive working environment
* Be customer and quality focused
* Be an effective communicator
* Can understand customer requirements and determine up-selling opportunities
