**Your Impact:**

When it comes to environmental consulting, we're focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We're seeking an Assistant Environmental Project Manager to oversee projects for commercial and federal clients. You'll apply your technical experience in site characterization and remediation to develop work plans while championing safety, quality and the well-being of your team.

Based in Morristown, New Jersey, you'll have the opportunity to work on site characterization and remediation projects across the region. You'll grow your career as you interact with key clients to grow our business while working with recognized technical experts, developing and implementing comprehensive site strategies, and delivering innovative solutions on some of the most challenging sites. As an assistant project manager, collaboratively manage project teams that include junior field and technical staff, senior technical consultants, and technical subject matter experts, with support from Jacobs internal management, to deliver environmental projects with a strong focus and emphasis on environmental site characterization and remediation.

Most projects will require thoughtful strategy development, leveraging technical expertise with client and stakeholder collaboration. All projects need to be delivered with high safety, compliance, and quality standards expected by both Jacobs and our clients. You'll provide motivation and direction to project teams and be surrounded by mentorship?and mentoring?opportunities to help you?and your team?thrive.? By driving consistency and innovation across various environmental projects and keeping on schedule and budget, you'll help your team achieve the clients' goals.

**Here's What You'll Need:**

+ Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree

+ Professional on-the-job experience related to overseeing environmental field work for site characterization and remediation projects

+ Knowledge and experience with various media (e.g., soil, soil vapor, groundwater) investigations and remediation technologies

+ Basic project management experience including financial management

**Ideally, You'll Also Have:**

+ Professional Engineer, Geologist or Project Management Professional (P.E., P.G, or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain

+ Located in the Northern New Jersey area

+ Ability to communicate concisely and proactively with coworkers, contractors, and clients.

+ 40-hour HAZWOPER training and 8-hr refresher
