Clinical Service Head, Headspace Centres & Early Psychosis Program H-CEPP
Applications are sought for a key leadership position in the infant, child and youth mental health and wellbeing program at Alfred Health.
The successful candidate will be a psychiatrist with expertise in youth mental health. They willreport to the Director of the Alfred Health Headspace/ CYMH service.They will provide clinical leadership to the Alfred Health H-CEPP teams, and ensure that the clinical treatment, care, and support delivered to clients of the service is safe and effective. They will provide supervision to junior and senior medical staff, including GPs working in the centres and other relevant clinical and non-clinical staff. They will support the quality, monitoring and improvement initiatives of Alfred Health and Headspace National; the teaching, research, and clinical governance programs; and the strategic priorities and values of Alfred Health.

Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
Be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Fellow of the relevant college
Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Youth Psychiatry
Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Youth Psychiatry
Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
To provide strong management and leadership to Headspace Early psychosis service.
Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
