About the Role
The System Test Lead plays a key role in the ECIS team by ensuring all system test phases are managed effectively. As the System Test Lead, the main purpose of the role is to ensure software changes are delivered within specification and to the accepted level of quality. This position will be responsible for testing of CAD changes and corporate software utilised by the organisation.
Reporting to the Manager Test Practice, the System Test Lead will be responsible for leading the System Test team, testing plans, developing test cases, executing testing, and writing test reports.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Lead a team of System Test Analysts (internal and external resources) across multiple projects and BAU changes, including demand, task, risk, and issue management.
Lead the development and implementation of system, integration, and regression testing plans for any changes to the production of ESTA environment.
Maintain, and improve system testing processes and procedures aligning ESTA's Testing Framework.
Review system, integration and regression test results and prepare test reports and test summary reports.
This is a permanent position based in Burwood East. Normal working hours are between 7am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday. There may be reasonable overtime and you may be required to travel or transfer between your primary work location and other ESTA sites to effectively carry out your duties.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
A Tertiary qualification in IT studies or equivalent industry experience.
Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQN.
Strong people leadership skills and current experience in leading teams.
Knowledge and experience delivering functional testing.
Extensive experience in testing of mission critical applications.
Demonstrated experience implementing and running testing and production assurance methodologies.
Experience with MicroFocus ALM customisation is highly desirable
Experience with Behaviour Driven Development and automation frameworks will be highly regarded.
