NOPSEMA (the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority) is the regulator for Australia's offshore energy industry overseeing the safe and environmentally responsible management of offshore petroleum and renewable energy activities in Commonwealth waters. We are currently seeking a Manager to lead a collaborative and dedicated team of Marine Scientists who are passionate about ensuring the protection of the offshore environment.

The key duties of the position include
About the role
We are looking for an agile leader, with experience in managing change and marine impact assessment. Key to this role is the ability to interpret scientific information, and lead a team of experts in the assessment, compliance monitoring and enforcement of offshore energy activities in accordance with the regulatory framework.
You will make decisions and provide advice on key marine ecological processes, related to offshore environmental impact and risk assessment, to management, the offshore energy industry, government, and other stakeholders. Apply for this job
