About Your Role

The Protected Vehicles business unit (PRV) is responsible for the design, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles (PMV). The business unit includes a Program Management Office (PMO) which is responsible for the provision of project management process, tools, training and overall governance.

The Project Scheduler is accountable for scheduling, resource planning and earned value management of activities within the Operations and Project Management team. These activities primarily focus on the workshop, warehouse and operations support functions, to deliver vehicle maintenance and upgrade programs on time and on budget, within agreed contract KPIs.

  • Provide the earned value and scheduling analysis support for projects, bids and proposals
  • Develop, analyse and manage project costs and schedules including providing timely advice and reports to projects, bids, proposal teams and the customer on project cost and schedule performance to maximise efficiency
  • Clearly and effectively communicate these strategies and plans to the Programme and Project Managers as well as customer representatives
  • Provide regular project schedule status updates, including Budgeted hours vs earned hours, and ongoing resource requirements
  • Manage the Operations Planning cycle including regular demand planning and schedule reviews with consultation with Stakeholders
  • How About You?

  • Good knowledge of Primavera and/or OPP (Open Plan Professional)
  • A thorough understanding of scheduling especially Scheduling maintenance activities
  • A good understanding of Earned Value Management
  • Previous experience in working with Defence projects is highly advantageous
  • High level communication skills both written and verbal with a collaborative working style
