Job Description
The Project
Brisbane City Council has partnered with design and construction consortium, Brisbane Move (made up of construction-lead ACCIONA and design-lead Arup) to deliver the major infrastructure for Brisbane Metro, which includes: 
a new tunnel beneath Adelaide Street and revitalised streetscape from North Quay to Edward Street 
an upgraded Cultural Centre station 
an upgraded entrance to the Cultural Centre Forecourt with new landscaping and wider footpaths 
significant public realm improvements at Melbourne Street and Grey Street 
changes to Victoria Bridge to provide three lanes for Metro and bus services, and dedicated cycling and pedestrian pathways
upgrades to suburban bus stations including end-of-route Brisbane Metro vehicle charging facilities.

The Opportunity
ACCIONA is looking for an experienced Quality Advisor / Coordinator to join our Brisbane Move team. The successful candidate will be working with the Quality Manager to implement, monitor and maintain the Quality Management Plan and Systems for the project.

Required Skills and Competencies
The Key Accountabilities
Assisting with the development and implementation of Inspection and Test Procedures
Liaising with the construction team and client representatives to improve quality outcomes
Assisting with the reporting and closure of non-conformances
Maintaining the project quality management database
Participating and assisting in the undertaking of audits
Assisting in verifying compliance with the requirements of the contract and project plans.
Undertaking site inspections and releasing Hold Points as required
Reviewing and managing the closure of Quality Lots
Providing reports and advice to the Quality Manager as required
Required Skills and Competencies
Holds a tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar desired
Proven experience in a similar role in the construction industry, preferably on major infrastructure projects
Working knowledge of TMR specifications and a sound knowledge of Road and Bridge construction is highly desirable
Ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands
Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
