Some of the projects you will work on include work order life cycle management apps for field technicians and supervisors, inventory management apps, enhancing a growing suite of REST APIs, and improvements to our CI/CD pipeline. You will get to champion operational best practices by ensuring continuous improvement in our code bases, development practices, deployment pipelines and monitoring solutions.
This is a permanent full time position that can be based in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport with a mix of working from home and the office. The position attracts a total remuneration package of $112 - 126K per annum (including superannuation).
Design, develop and implement complex IT/OT Digital solutions.
Deliver high quality, value-focused software solutions as part of a cross-functional team.
Analyse the business and technology landscape to design simple, intuitive UI/UX, develop and contribute to architectural solutions.
Contribute to operational and strategic planning and roadmap initiatives.
Participate in peer reviews to ensure coding guidelines and best practices are being followed.
Follow internal coding guidelines and practices, always leaving code in a better state than you found it.
Provide estimations for work and take ownership to endeavour to meet those estimates.
Alternate between developing solutions, leading projects, managing project team members, participating as a team member, and mentoring peers and juniors to assist in uplifting their capabilities to help ensure delivery of quality solutions.
Track project status over project life cycles in Jira and mitigate issues and risks.
