The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arising to be part of a progressive and empowered team, leading Maribyrnong Council's governance and integrity framework.
As Coordinator Governance, you will make a real difference by coordinating the development, implementation and continual improvement of Maribyrnong Council's governance framework.
Leading the governance team, you will be a trusted strategic governance advisor to the organisation with a focus on driving legislative compliance.
You will be renowned for your ability to develop genuine relationships and building a positive constructive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate, develop and maintain processes in relation to good governance practices and statutory compliance.
Coordinate, develop and implement high quality governance services, support and strategic advice to the organisation.
Contribute to building and fostering a culture of best practice good governance.
Leadership and mentoring to the Governance Team.
About You
You will have a tertiary qualification in commerce, law, business administration or a related disciplined. Previous experience in a governance, compliance or board environment is highly desirable.
