The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) has a high performing team of technicians and instructors at the RAAF Base Townsville supporting the Australian Army's fleet of CH-47F Chinook aircraft. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who can integrate with our team and support our On-site Manager. BDA can offer suitable candidates a high degree of flexibility in the workplace including part-time hours (school hours) and working from home arrangements.
As the On-site Administrator you will support the BDA team by performing the following tasks
General project reporting requirements: Report preparation and distribution
Attendance at regular customer meetings: Preparation of agenda/minutes and tracking decisions and actions
EHS administrative duties: Coordinating audits, site Inspections and EHS reporting. Coordinating health monitoring tests (e.g. hearing and bloods etc.)
Training coordination: Ensuring personnel are scheduled to receive Boeing and/or ADF training.
Security administrative duties: Ensure all personnel are compliant with BDA and ADF requirements
Coordination with IT for issue resolution.
Experience/Qualifications
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Certificate IV in Business Administration (highly desirable).
Motivated, proactive, friendly, cooperative and willing approach to assisting others as needed and in undertaking routine work as well as special assignments.
High quality and accurate word processing skills.
Intermediate knowledge and professional experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.
Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
