Description and Requirements
About the organization and team
Own sales targets for Smart Retail in scope. Define and execute appropriate sales strategies, channel, marketing, technical, operations and sales support programs to maximize sales, profitability, and Route-To-Market.
Reporting to: GM - Lenovo Retail Solutions
Number of Peers: 1 in Japan, 28 in other countries
Be responsible for developingand executing an aggressive customer acquisition campaign in APAC markets. Articulate practical solutions for Smart Retail and demonstrate an ability to address customer pain points at a high level. Maintain and build trusted executive-level client relationships.
Understand industry trends, priorities, challenges, and market opportunities. Identify how Smart Retail products/solutions may bring value to clients in the relevant sectors.
Be responsible for leading, motivating, and coordinating with the regional sales and worldwide teams, e.g., product mgmt., R&D, delivery, marketing, etc. in pursuing Smart Retail solution business.
Be responsible for inspiring and facilitating Smart Retail business partners to thrive through outcome-oriented interactions & collaboration.
Key Interaction with
High-touch sales for Smart Retail customers (Key Accounts), partner sales, technical sales, product marketing
Business Trip (Location, frequency)
Based on business needs and customers’ location
Sales management skills can be extended to various possibilities (management roles such as Sales GM/Product/Project Manager and others)
Required skills:
6 years or more sales experience in the smart vertical industry, smart vertical includes but is not limited to large supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, retail banks, gas stations, cinema lines, amusement parks, airports, telecom operators storefronts, hotels
