The Opportunity
The Kwinana Waste To Energy Project has an exciting opening for a Project Cost Controls Engineer to come and join the team. In this exciting role you will develop, manage, analyse, and report on budgets, cost forecasts and risk & opportunities to support the Project Management to achieve Cost and Schedule targets of the project.
The role of the Project Cost Controls Engineer will report to the Project Controls Manager and assist with effective and timely delivery of the project controls functions required for the project.
Key accountabilities for the position:  
Interface with the project team, accounting , project management and stakeholders
Ensure project controls and processes across risk and document control are applied and followed during the projects life cycle.
Assist in developing cost reports that are of high quality and delivered within the set timeframes.
Required Skills and Competencies
Experience gained in a Project Control or a Cost Control ideally gained in construction, mining or Oil & Gas
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel to ensure accurate cost reporting
Ability to tell a story through data to senior stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Commerce
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
