About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our new Rapid Access Hub at St. Vincent’s on the Park for a motivated Registered Nurse who is seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to become part of our Endoscopy/ Day Procedure Unit. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality care through demonstrating a person care approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice.
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601 per annum pro rata)
SVHM are open to applicants seeking both Part Time and Full Time opportunities are available -please state your desired FTE in your cover letter.
Roles are all permanent - The Rapid Access Hub will be open for 2 years, and thereafter staff members will be offered transfers to the main Fitzroy campus of SVHM.

You will also have:
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Current or recent Endoscopy experience
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
Motivated, professional as well as exceptional communication and time management skills

About the Rapid Access Hub
St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) will be establishing a new Rapid Access Hub (RAH) to operate out of the St Vincent’s on the Park (SVOP) campus, in February 2023. When fully operational 4  theatres will treat up to 7,000 patients annually,  including receiving patients from the  North  East  Metro  Health Service Partnership (HSP). The Rapid Access Hub at SVOP allows SVHM to provide procedures to patients who have had care and treatment postponed  due to the impact of the  COVID-19 pandemic.  
The RAH at SVOP will be a day surgery service
Operating hours will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 7:30pm. No Public Holidays.
A total of four operating theatres will be operational, including two endoscopy theatres and two surgical day case theatres
There will be opportunities for staff to work at the SVHM main theatre suite on the Fitzroy campus
There will be Education and Learning support for nursing staff onsite
The facilities and staff amenities at SVOP are newly established (2020) and include large change facilities, kitchen and lounge areas
